Ms. McKain joined Coughlin & Gerhart, L.L.P. in 2009 and is an Associate in the firm.  She focuses her practice in the areas of real estate, estate planning, and employee benefits.

Prior to joining Coughlin & Gerhart, L.L.P., Ms. McKain worked in the mortgage department of a local credit union on real estate matters. Earlier in her career, she worked for several firms in Washington, D.C. that specialized in employee benefits law.  Ms. McKain practices in Coughlin & Gerhart's Ithaca office, traveling to other locations as needed.

Ms. McKain is a member of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, Finger Lakes Chapter, Tompkins County Bar Association, American Bar Association, and National Association of Professional Mortgage Women.
