In 1996, Coughlin & Gerhart opened a branch office in Owego at 32-34 Lake Street.

In 2004, Coughlin & Gerhart purchased Martin Tillapaugh’s law practice and moved its Owego office to Mr. Tillapaugh’s former offices at 27-29 Lake Street. In 2006, Coughlin & Gerhart also purchased Peter Manyon’s law practice. Their files, including abstracts of title and wills, remain on site. The Owego office is staffed daily with attorneys experienced in many areas, including real estate, wills, trust and estates, corporate and tax matters, civil litigation, workers’ compensation and adoptions. Together with our support staff, we strive to provide quality legal services in a timely and cost effective manner.

Our Owego office is open 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. In addition to our second floor offices at 27-29 Lake Street, we have a first floor conference room available at 32-34 Lake Street for client meetings.

Driving Directions

From Rte. 17 West

Take the first Owego Exit 65. Turn right, go over the bridge, and bear left onto Rte. 17C at the "Y" on the other side of the bridge. At the end of this ramp exit, turn right at the stoplight and continue onto Rte. 17C. Continue on Rte. 17C after stoplight for about 1.2 miles, which then becomes Front Street. (You will pass 2 signal lights.) Continue onto Front Street and turn right at the next stoplight at the corner of Front and Church Street (Elks Club is on the corner). At the end of Church Street turn left onto Main Street. Immediately turn at the very next left onto Lake Street (one way street). Parking is available along Lake Street which runs in front of the office.
